CA Software Israel Ltd and Ness Israel, a leader in information systems in Israel, have entered into a long-term strategic partnership, whereby Ness will establish a new division in NessPRO (Ness software distribution group) dedicated to representing CA in Israel.

Ness, which employs more than 2500 employees in Israel, will dramatically increase CA’s reach across the country. The new division in NessPRO group, which will be known as CA Israel, will be responsible for selling and marketing CA’s core solutions.

“This innovative business model has been adopted by CA Technologies successfully in many other countries in the region,” said Marco Comastri, President & General Manager, EMEA, CA Technologies. “And, with a high caliber partner like Ness on board, together, we will be ideally positioned to not only help our customers and prospects take advantage of the opportunities that the application economy presents, but we also can further expand our footprint in this important market.”

Israel remains a key R&D hub for CA Technologies, with engineering teams at its offices in Herzliya and Kfar Saba.

CA’s current customers, many of whom are also long time Ness customers, will maintain a majority of their account directors and services personnel.

“This partnership clearly positions us for growth in our market,” said Comastri. “We expect to be able to reach more customers and grow the business moving forward.”

“We, at Ness, are very excited about the opportunities that this partnership presents,” says David Devorsky, SVP and NessPRO manager. “We think that the close relationship between our organizations will bring tremendous value to not only our two companies but more specifically to the existing customer and partner base. Ness understands the local market and brings a diverse range of skills that can be utilized to further enhance the end user customer experience.”

“This is a true partnership and customers and partners will continue to benefit from CA’s global expertise, best of breed technology and intellectual property,” says Comastri.
