ITSM Extreme Makeover 2011 Winner Announced

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio to receive an ITSM transformation

The University of Texas Health Science Center has been selected as ITSM Extreme Makeover 2011.

The ITSM Extreme Makeover sponsor team consists of executive sponsors Pink Elephant and Hornbill, along with participating sponsors HDI, Gaming Works, and Loyalist.Each of the sponsor organizations will donate products, services and support to help The University of Texas Health Science Center achieve an ITSM transformation.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio was chosen over three other finalists in a unanimous decision from the sponsor team. The other finalists are: Salt Lake County Information Services; The University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and Hazelden Foundation.

The makeover journey will be chronicled and shared across the globe on video, blogs and social networking sites. This project is a first of its kind in the industry and will provide a rare peek into how an IT Service Management (ITSM) organization can be transformed using best practices and good program management.
