Dynatrace announced its platform has achieved StateRAMP authorization at the Moderate Impact Level.
The authorization demonstrates to state and local governments and public educational institutions in the United States that the Dynatrace® Software Intelligence Platform meets the strict security and compliance standards required to enable secure and flawless digital interactions and drive digital transformation initiatives at scale.
StateRAMP is a cybersecurity attestation modeled after FedRAMP and verified through a rigorous compliance audit and continuous monitoring conducted by the nonprofit StateRAMP organization. The program is gaining momentum across state and local government and education agencies. This reflects agencies’ increased demand for cybersecurity, digital services, and cloud-based solutions, which according to the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO), are among the top 5 agency priorities for 2022.
As Steve Tack, SVP of Product Management at Dynatrace, said, “We are proud to partner with public sector agencies across the US and worldwide to ensure the government and education services we rely on are delivered rapidly, efficiently, and securely. These services are built on hybrid and multicloud architectures, which increase complexity and cyber risk. To ensure application security and resilience and drive efficient operations with limited resources, public sector teams need a solution that provides precise answers and intelligent automation from the enormous amounts of cloud data while ensuring they meet the strictest cybersecurity standards. Obtaining StateRAMP authorization provides additional confirmation that the Dynatrace platform meets these standards. It also underscores our commitment to helping government agencies worldwide ensure flawless and secure digital services for their citizens.”
