OpsDataStore announced the availability of OpsDataStore version 1.1, which gives IT leaders immediate access to real-time operational insights in their BI tool of choice.
OpsDataStore removes the barriers of cumbersome, time-consuming and expensive reporting to expose immediate insights from IT data for both business and engineering leaders. This gives enterprises an accurate, minute-by-minute view across their IT operations, while addressing the unmet need for better business intelligence from IT data.
“OpsDataStore and its partners are delivering real-time self-service operational insights which have, quite simply, never before been possible,” said Bernd Harzog, CEO of OpsDataStore. “In our conversations with business and IT operations leaders, OpsDataStore has experienced the major need for real-time troubleshooting and more seamless performance and capacity analysis; along with the broader necessity to expose IT data for better business insights. OpsDataStore 1.1 opens up a world of opportunities for enterprises, giving them immediate insights into their business.”
A recent Enterprise Management Associates report found that most enterprises use a combination of at least 14 tools to monitor IT data. At its worst, a large enterprise indicated it uses over 300 tools. Today, IT departments are burdened by constant requests to pull static extracts of IT data, to build ad hoc dashboards. And, until now, it was not possible to analyze IT data in real-time. OpsDataStore provides live, up-to-the-minute data for analysis that can be customized using all of the leading BI tools.
Key features of OpsDataStore version 1.1 include:
- Real-Time Troubleshooting: A real-time troubleshooting dashboard spanning APM tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and ExtraHop and virtual infrastructure like VMware vSphere.
- Performance & Capacity Analytics: Detailed and continuous metric and analytic rewind and replay for seamless performance and capacity analytics, spanning all data and timelines across your entire VMware estate.
- Live, Custom Dashboards: The ability to package any set of IT metrics and application metrics into live custom dashboards built in Tableau or any other BI tool.
