OpTier announced the appointment of Mark Thompson to chief executive officer of OpTier, responsible for overall leadership and management of the company.
He will succeed Israel Mazin who will remain as chairman of the board of directors.
Thompson joined OpTier as President last November from CA Technologies, bringing over two decades of executive leadership experience to OpTier with deep experience in innovation, growth and helping to solve client’s business and IT issues.
Thompson has led OpTier’s success over the past six months and will continue to drive strategy and execution as OpTier expands its solutions into analytics and big data.
“This transition marks a natural progression in OpTier’s history,” said Israel Mazin, chairman of the board. “As President, Mark has demonstrated a commitment to his customers-first philosophy and has driven OpTier’s success in meeting and exceeding customer needs for an always-on business. His proven track record in IT management, as well as the success he has brought to OpTier over the past six months, will propel OpTier to the next level as customer needs evolve.”
