ASG Software Solutions (ASG) announced the enhancement of several ASG Performance Management and other products to provide support for IBM’s CICS Transaction Server (TS) for z/OS® Version 5.1, which was be released by IBM on December 14, 2012.
These products include ASG-TMON for CICS TS for z/OS and ASG-TMON Change Manager for CICS TS.
z/OS is a cost-effective, secure and an adaptable platform for Cloud applications, and IBM’s continued improvements in Operation efficiencies and Service Availability in CICS TS V5.1 complements ASG’s support for customers’ business-critical applications.

Among the products that will support the CICS TS V5.1 release, ASG-TMON for CICS TS for z/OS monitors and manages the performance of business-critical systems and applications, lowering total cost of ownership and providing one of the most integrated, easy-to-use solutions on the market. ASG-TMON Change Manager for CICS TS provides automated and secure management of CICS System Definition (CSD, CP/SM) changes.
