Blue Medora has achieved an important milestone for their Oracle Enterprise Manager Plugin for VMware.
The plugin, which allows for deeper monitoring and management for users deploying VMware virtual machines as part of their Oracle enterprise virtualization, achieved the Oracle Validated Integration designation from the enterprise management giant.
“Oracle obviously has a tremendous stake in maintaining their customers’ confidence in their products and their brand and they take validating solutions that leverage Enterprise Manager’s extensibility very seriously,” said Nathan Owen, Blue Medora CEO. “We are proud of the strong development relationship we have with Oracle, and the Oracle Validated Integration designation demonstrates that we are developing solutions that are not only needed by Oracle’s user base, but are also high-quality solutions that fully integrate into their users’ environments.”
Oracle third-party solution providers must apply for Oracle Validated Integration and are subject to a rigorous approval process involving extensive testing within the Oracle Enterprise Manager environment.
Companies that achieve partner status through the validation process are featured as an Oracle Partner through Oracle user communities such as the Oracle Extensibility Exchange. Blue Medora is one of the first companies to focus their development efforts on creating solutions that plug into Oracle Enterprise Manager, allowing Oracle users to extend the platform to meet their organization’s unique data management and monitoring needs.
“Oracle is the leader in enterprise management solutions and used by many Fortune 500 and Global 5000 companies. Their desire to create a vibrant ecosystem of solution developers is a huge opportunity not just for companies like ours, but also for their user base,” said Owen. “Oracle Validated Integration means their users can rest assured they are getting a road-tested solution that meets the highest Oracle standards.”
