CA Technologies announced "Day One" support for IBM's z13, allowing customers to take full advantage of the z13’s advanced mobile, cloud and analytic capabilities.
The new mainframe delivers unprecedented insight through secure management of exponentially growing data volume and an integrated transaction and analytics system.
“The application economy is creating an unprecedented volume of data that requires a holistic and secure approach to connect the data to applications and support billions of transactions without downtime,” said Michael Madden, GM, Mainframe, CA Technologies. “CA and IBM are collaborating to drive enhanced management of complex applications and expanding data volume across the entire data center. We are helping z13 customers efficiently and quickly transform their business to grow in a world increasingly driven by software.”
CA Technologies is bringing new innovations to market that enable z Systems to connect to and support entire IT infrastructures, such as CA Application Lifecycle Conductor that provides a new level of seamless collaboration for advanced application lifecycle management spanning mobile to mainframe to cloud.
“IBM is pleased to count on CA Technologies continued support and innovation around new IBM hardware and software,” said Ross Mauri, GM, IBM z Systems. “This enables our mutual clients to leverage z13’s capabilities to better understand and serve their own customers in the rapidly transforming digital economy.”
