Catchpoint announced that its new free benchmarking service is now available, allowing any organization to gain a glimpse into the performance (speed, availability) of its website, mobile site or web applications compared to industry-specific leaders.
“One of the biggest challenges facing IT teams is establishing benchmarks for their digital performance,” says Mehdi Daoudi, CEO and Co-Founder, Catchpoint. “How are you supposed to set goals and know what needs to be improved without first knowing where you stand against the competition? This service will establish these baselines for all organizations as they strive to improve key performance indicators and thus their digital customer experience.”
Catchpoint’s benchmarking service addresses the growing complexity of modern digital service delivery systems, measuring and providing snapshots of real-time performance data across key metrics including DNS response, server response, webpage load time and more. Catchpoint will also provide industry-specific benchmarking reports on a quarterly basis to further help organizations better understand web performance trends within their respective industries.
“Performance standards and challenges can vary from industry to industry,” says Daoudi. “By providing more data and context to organizations, this benchmarking service will help them understand their own performance in relation to their industry standard and identify areas in need of improvement, ultimately helping drive their business success and be part of the customer-centric IT changes happening.”
