Nearly two years since the launch of Dynatrace Ruxit, the company is changing the product name. Going forward, Dynatrace Ruxit will be known simply as "Dynatrace", same as the company name.
"This is an exciting time for us to move the Dynatrace Ruxit technology and architecture to the forefront of our full-stack digital performance monitoring platform," said Andreas Lehofer, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace. "This unification represents a giant step forward in bringing you the world’s most innovative and complete AI-driven monitoring solution. The Dynatrace platform provides everything your organization needs to modernize its operations, accelerate innovation, and optimize the customer experience of your digital business."
"This is only a product name change, so don’t worry — this won’t affect the functionality of Dynatrace Ruxit at all," Lehofer continued. "This is a language change that only affects wording in the UI, Help, and some resource names. Your environment bookmarks will continue to work until the end of the year. Within a couple of weeks you’ll be able to update your bookmarks to the new equivalent URLs, but there’s nothing you need to do right now. You’ll also eventually need to update all API endpoints that your organization relies on."
Existing URLs will not be accessible after January 1, 2017.
Aligning the product name "Dynatrace" with the company name demonstrates a long-term commitment to continuous, substantial investment into Dynatrace Ruxit product development. By doubling down on the company's commitment to Dynatrace Ruxit, customers will benefit from ongoing innovation.
Here are a few highlights from Dynatrace's product roadmap:
- Custom dashboards and reporting
- End-to-end transaction analysis (PurePath)
- User behavior and application analytics
