Ipanema Technologies has partnered with Netutils, a specialist in managed networking and IT security solutions.
The partnership coincides with the launch of Cloudutils; the company’s portfolio of Cloud solutions & services. Ipanema’s AppsWork will be offered to the mid-size enterprise market as ‘Cloudutils App Performance’.
The partnership comes at a time when increasing numbers of businesses, of all sizes, are moving towards cloud-based application use. This, in addition to trends like BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and BYOA (Bring Your Own Application) have resulted in company networks being put under increasing stress, creating strong demand for flexible, high-performance cloud solutions which guarantee that applications will run smoothly over the networks.
AppsWork allows businesses to optimise application performance across the WAN and helps address concerns including; poor end-user experience, reliability and costs associated with on-premise and cloud-based business applications.
The partnership means that for a few pounds per user per month, businesses can take full advantage of any application, including on-premise and Cloud-based, with guaranteed performance and full application visibility. This has traditionally been reserved for larger businesses, but the cost-effective and easy-to-use service means that all businesses, regardless of size, can deploy and manage these applications without the need for additional capital investment.
Michele Lewington, MD at Netutils says of the partnership: “We are delighted to include AppsWork as part of our new Cloudutils services. We chose AppsWork because it’s the only cloud service we’ve seen on the market that combines full application visibility and performance guarantee with simplicity built in. We’ve seen a shift recently towards the service-consumption model for IT and AppsWork essentially hands control of the network back to the IT Team. We’re excited about introducing the new solution to our existing and future customers. It fits perfectly within our flexible and integrated approach to secure network solutions and is a great service to include within our Cloudutils offering.”
“The new partnership between Ipanema and Netutils has great potential”, comments Rogier van der Wal, Vice President Cloud Services, Ipanema Technologies. “The time is ripe for a network solution that allows organisations to better control applications on their networks, and this, combined with Netutils’ prominence within the secure networking market, means that it’s an exciting time for AppsWork. Ipanema has had great success amongst larger businesses and we anticipate a similarly positive outcome with the AppsWork service.”
