NetBrain Technologies released the latest version of their flagship product – Enterprise Suite Version 5.0.

This update represents the largest release to date, providing automated network troubleshooting and map-driven network change management platforms.

With Version 5.0, NetBrain introduces Automation Procedures which can automate a wide range of network management tasks normally completed manually through the CLI.

Out of the box, version 5.0 contains hundreds of built-in automation procedures for troubleshooting, change verification and compliance.

The software also features a simple framework, empowering users to develop their own procedures to automate any network task.

Additionally, version 5.0 features a new Network Change Management module that allows users to automatically push configuration changes, analyze their impact, and document the results. This module is designed to make network changes more efficient and less risky.

Other improvements to Enterprise Suite 5.0 include:

• Expanded multivendor / Multi-Tenant support to increase the flexibility of the software across multiple hardware platforms and sizes

• Qmap enhancements that enable network diagrams to be used as a portable workspace for collaboration and sharing

• Integration with LDAP/AD authentication servers

• Workspace sync-up speed improvements for very large networks

With its newest release, NetBrain maintains its position as a leader in network mapping, network troubleshooting, and domain knowledge.

NetBrain Enterprise Suite 5.0 is available immediately for trial download and as an upgrade to existing customers.
