OpTier announced a new extension for monitoring transactions across the infrastructure, from end-users to the mainframe.
The solution, exclusive to OpTier, was developed by mainframe partner Response Systems, Ltd., a U.K.-based company that has specialized in mainframe application performance monitoring for nearly two decades.
“Traditional monitoring solutions fail to provide true visibility into an enterprise’s infrastructure because they lack visibility into mainframe tiers,” said Andy Wild, President, at OpTier. “This results in an incomplete view of the actual application and lack the business context necessary to understand user experience. OpTier offers an enterprise class solution that can track business transactions from the end-user all the way through to the mainframe.”
