Observe announced the launch of the Observe Connected App, Powered by Snowflake.

The Observe Connected App, which connects directly to the end-customer's Snowflake account to store and process data, expands the range of deployment options for Snowflake customers and accelerates observability capabilities within the Snowflake Data Cloud for faster insights.

In addition to the Observe Connected App, Observe also introduced new Data Sharing features that enable customers to discover new insights by combining Observe telemetry data with existing Snowflake business data using their business intelligence tool of choice. This launch gives customers two choices in accessing their data without ETL tools or APIs: connecting the Observe Connected App to their Snowflake account or simply requesting a data share from Observe.

"Enterprises are at breaking point with their existing tooling, the data volumes and costs are out of control," said Jeremy Burton, CEO, Observe Inc. "Snowflake has been fundamental to Observe's success – the scale, performance and economics of Snowflake in Observability use cases is unmatched. The Observe Connected App deployment makes it easy for Enterprise customers to make use of their existing Snowflake credits for Observability use cases."

With the launch of the Observe Connected App, Snowflake customers can run Observe's workloads on its SaaS application within their existing Snowflake deployment. Previously, Observe customers had been deployed onto its multi-tenant SaaS environment. The two companies are helping organizations democratize data by unifying it and making it accessible for a multitude of use cases.

"As the observability industry continues to mature, Observe has set the standard and achieved incredible price and performance by leaning into Snowflake's Data Cloud architecture," said Omer Singer, Head of Cybersecurity Strategy, Snowflake. "The Observe Connected App will allow security and observability teams to achieve their visibility, automation, and reporting goals."

Deployment using the Observe Connected App and Data Sharing are both available immediately.
