NEC Corporation of America (NEC) announced the launch of its NEC Cloud solutions and expansion of the portfolio to include transformational services that help customers navigate successfully as they move business functions to the cloud.
NEC Cloud leverages NEC’s deep experience of delivering enterprise class Managed and Integrated IT solutions, including NEC’s proven Software Defined Networking (SDN) product family (award-winning ProgrammableFlow networking and Nblock™ infrastructure), and UNIVERGE Cloud communications solutions to its customers.
NEC Cloud offerings share three core characteristics:
· Transformation: Using a consultative approach, NEC tackles the first stage of chaos, helping customers choose which cloud services work best for their current business environment as well as their future business strategy.
· Security, Compliance and Control: The chosen cloud services meet both industry and regulatory security and compliance requirements to give customers more control of their business.
· Keeping it Simple: Provide end-to-end management automation of infrastructure and applications, enabling solutions that are easy to use, deploy and manage.
The NEC Cloud portfolio includes four core solutions: Private Infrastructure as a Service; Unified Communications as a Service; Enterprise Applications as a Service; and Testing as a Service.
Solutions are delivered through three deployment models: private cloud, hybrid cloud, and public cloud.
