Panorama9, a web-based IT management platform, announced the launch of Perfect Pager, a personal alert system that ensures the right team member is alerted of network problems right away.
Following on the heels of a seed funding round in late 2012, Perfect Pager is the first in a series of enhancements from Panaroma9 slated for Q1 2013.
While Panorama9 has long supported both email and text updates, the Perfect Pager takes alerting to the next level. IT administrators will receive a call from a live human who can inform them about which server or service is down, when it happened, and what, if anything else, is going on inside their network.
Perfect Pager offers maximum flexibility for the teams of engineers, developers, and system administrators that typically maintain enterprise networks. Users can set up a phone list specifying who needs to be called under which circumstance. Multiple phone numbers can be included for each individual and international calling is supported.
Perfect Pager ensures that no issue goes unaddressed. If the first contact on the list doesn’t answer, Panaroma9 will continue down the list until someone picks up. If there’s still no answer, Panorama9 will begin calling from the top of the list.
“When something in the network is misfiring, you want to know as soon as possible with as much detail as possible. Perfect Pager is unique since it’s not an automated message. You hear directly from a live person who knows all the available information on the problem,” said Allan Thorvaldsen, CEO and co-founder of Panorama9.
Panorama9 is designed for today’s IT needs, including extensive offerings to support BYOD and mixed-OS environments. A cleanly designed, web-based dashboard offers a comprehensive view for IT managers, with real-time tracking and alerts on company assets, IT availability, security vulnerabilities, non-compliant systems, and more.
Panorama9 is a pay-as-you-go subscription-based service, so there are no long-term contracts or commitments. Tiered pricing plans offer the right fit for businesses of all sizes. New users can sign up for a 30-day free trial and deploy within five minutes.
