SolarWinds Earns Recognition from Readers of Top IT Publications

Readers of several technology and IT management publications have selected SolarWinds products as the "Reader's Choice" and "Reader Trust" winners in a wide range of network, systems, and security management software categories.

The Redmond Magazine 2012 Reader's Choice Awards, announced in January, were voted on by the magazine's readers, honoring SolarWinds with wins in the following categories:

- Best Network and Systems Management Product: SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) won Gold

- Best Application Performance Management: SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM) won Gold

- Best Systems Performance Management: SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM) won Gold

- Best Virtual Management and Optimization: SolarWinds VM Monitor won Bronze

SC Magazine's 2013 Reader Trust Awards, announced February 26, lauded SolarWinds' security management products:

- SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM) won Gold for Best Policy Management Solution

- SolarWinds Log & Event manager (LEM) was named Finalist for Best Security Information/Event Management (SIEM) Appliance; SolarWinds LEM was also a Finalist in 2012 in this category

WindowsNetworking.com honored DameWare, part of the SolarWinds family, with one its monthly Reader's Choice Awards. DameWare Remote Support won First Place in the Remote Control category in January 2013; DameWare products have placed in this category for six straight years.

Other product wins include a first runner-up in Network Computing UK's Network Management Product of the Year category for SolarWinds NPM, announced March 14, and a second runner-up in the Monitoring, Management & Performance category of VirtualizationAdmin.com's Reader's Choice Awards for SolarWinds Virtualization Manager, announced on March 28.
