OpTier announced plans to extend the breadth of its APM solution to include mobile application performance management and analytics capabilities.
In order to provide visibility into mobile application transactions, OpTier is joining forces with longstanding technology partner Aternity.
Utilizing Aternity’s end user experience management solution, Aternity for Mobile, OpTier can now offer comprehensive monitoring capabilities for mobile device, network and service metrics.
The Aternity integration will further extend OpTier’s APM solution and allow enterprises to glean transactional data generated directly from their mobile applications. These newfound mobile capabilities, coupled with its patented end-to-end transaction tracking technology, will now allow OpTier to provide enterprises with unparalleled visibility across the entire IT architecture to improve customer experience, resource allocation, and operational decision making.
The advanced mobile application functionality includes:
- Device, application resource, Wi-Fi and cellular network monitoring
- Corporate network connection quality and web application monitoring
- Industry’s fastest instrumentation of native mobile applications with application crash and system-wide error reporting
- Advanced analytics for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Unified platform for physical, virtual and mobile APM
“The proliferation of mobile devices and applications has forced enterprises to rethink how they connect with their customers,” said Andrew Wild, President at OpTier. “Mobile has rapidly emerged as the primary form of engagement for many enterprises and the lack of application visibility has hindered their efforts to fundamentally understand the customer experience. Leveraging Aternity’s robust mobile technology will allow us to extend our leading APM solution and provide true end-to-end application visibility, from Mobile to Mainframe.”
