Keynote announced Keynote Mobile App Monitoring, a cloud solution to monitor the performance of mobile apps without the need to add or modify any software.

Keynote Mobile App Monitoring addresses a critical blind spot, which currently leaves mobile technology teams with no visibility into performance after their apps have been downloaded.

Keynote Mobile App Monitoring alerts teams to issues related to availability and responsiveness, and offers insight into root causes, isolating bottlenecks to specific services and APIs, including third parties.

In conjunction with its existing web and mobile web monitoring solutions, Keynote now provides a unified view across all digital delivery channels in one management dashboard.

“For our customers, Mobile App Monitoring brings new visibility of post-release app performance, where optimizing every digital interaction with consumers is critical,” said Jennifer Tejada, CEO of Keynote. “This means development teams, marketing staff and digital asset managers in industries such as retail and ecommerce, banking, travel, media and telecommunications can address app performance issues before they impact the customer experience and ultimately financial results.”

Keynote Mobile App Monitoring is an on-demand solution that does not require any modification of the app being monitored. It also provides active and continuous visibility into mobile app performance, using real devices and delivered as an easy-to-set-up cloud solution. Other solutions require IT Ops teams to either compile software into the app or “wrap” it in some software. Keynote Mobile App Monitoring frees IT Ops teams from having to manipulate code before monitoring, allowing for rapid deployment.

Using live wireless carrier connections around the globe, Keynote Mobile App Monitoring provides the most accurate insight into end-user experience for mobile apps. Keynote Mobile App Monitoring integrates across all of Keynote’s monitoring services to deliver a complete view into end-user experiences from a single cloud console, across key touch points including apps and Web, smartphones, tablets and desktops, and both inside and outside firewalls.

“Keynote Mobile App Monitoring fills a critical gap for organizations seeking to maximize the performance and value of their digitally-connected customers. We’ve developed a fast, easy way to monitor the performance of the billions of apps out there, measuring exactly what the end-user experiences,” continued Tejada. “It’s a big step in improving mobile application quality and reliability, and in turn helping teams increase the effectiveness of their mobile initiatives.”
