Former Cisco CTO and Cloud Management Leader Joins Zenoss as CTO

Alan Conley has joined Zenoss as Chief Technology Officer. Conley, a cloud management visionary, brings to Zenoss over 20 years of hands-on experience running large scale IT operations and building management products that span virtual, physical and cloud-based IT.Conley joins Zenoss from Cisco where he led Cisco's IT operations architecture for many years.

Conley joins Zenoss from Cisco where he led Cisco's IT operations architecture for many years. Most recently he served as CTO of the Cisco Network Management Technology Group where he was responsible for Cisco's cloud and virtualization management offerings.

Conley has extensive experience in the cloud management industry. He was a key driver of Cisco’s strategy and architecture for Cloud management, next generation network API, OpenStack, DMTF OVF 2.0, and Open Network Foundation (ONF). Conley also brings to Zenoss more than 14 years’ experience in IT at Cisco as a distinguished engineer responsible for IT operations and management technology. Conley has the demonstrated ability to envision and drive the development of large-scale management solutions that is grounded in the perspective of being a real end user. As chief technology officer, Conley will be responsible for driving Zenoss cloud management vision, direction and on-going innovation.
