SOASTA announced the promotion of Dixon Fiske to the position of SVP, Americas Sales.
Fiske has a long and proven track record in both field and channel sales management in Silicon Valley. Before joining SOASTA earlier this year, he was the Vice President of Sales at Boundary, leading up to its successful acquisition by BMC. He previously led the sales organizations at Nimsoft (acquired by CA Technologies) and ran a large team at HP/Mercury Interactive.
“Dixon is considered a Silicon Valley sales superstar, and I’m thrilled to have him lead our Americas sales organization,” said Tom Lounibos, SOASTA CEO and Co-Founder. “I am confident that his extensive experience will prove invaluable to SOASTA as we continue our momentum and development of industry-leading solutions.”
“I joined SOASTA for two reasons,” said Fiske. “One, I think the opportunity in the performance monitoring and management space continues to be huge, and SOASTA is taking a leading role in it. Second, I feel my background gives me experience that is really relevant to what SOASTA is trying to achieve. From the moment I met the team it just felt like a great fit.”
In his new role Fiske will focus on team organization and enablement that fully leverages SOASTA’s strengths. “For a company and a sales force at this stage of their evolution, it’s critical that we really understand what is unique about our offerings and articulate it well,” he explained. “SOASTA has incredible customers and unbelievable experience in the space, and we need to talk about how we can use that experience to help companies take their game to the next level.”
