Sumo Logic has joined the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, providing real-time business operational and security insights into infrastructures and modern applications running on Microsoft Azure.

In addition, Sumo Logic has released two new certified offerings for Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), as well as the ability to ingest log and host metrics data from any Sumo Logic supported OS collector.

Sumo Logic is a machine data analytics platform that natively ingests, indexes and analyzes structured metrics data and unstructured log data together in real-time. The platform unifies logs and metrics, transforming a variety of data types into real-time continuous intelligence across the entire application lifecycle enabling organizations to build, run and secure their modern applications.

Sumo Logic’s two new certified offerings in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace collect valuable diagnostic, performance, audit and security data for infrastructure and modern applications running in Microsoft Azure. These include:

- Sumo Logic for Azure Audit: The Sumo Logic Azure Audit offering provides visibility into Azure Audit Logs and Active Directory data and highlights what actions were taken on resources in a subscription (for example, the creation of virtual machines, starting websites, dropping databases, Active Directory actions by user and more). Sumo Logic delivers the ability to view this data in real-time as well as enable historical analysis which is critical for compliance auditing.

- Sumo Logic for Azure Web Apps: The Sumo Logic Azure Web Apps offering lets developers easily monitor and visualize the health of their Web Apps environment via preconfigured dashboards, providing immediate visibility into server and application errors, response codes, where people are coming from, response times, data traffic over time and more.

- Strengthen Security and Compliance – Monitor user access, platform configurations and changes across all Azure and on-premise workloads as well as generate audit trails to demonstrate compliance (e.g. PCI, HIPAA, etc.).
