NETSCOUT SYSTEMS announced that the nGeniusONE Service Assurance Platform has been verified as Citrix Ready on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.

The Citrix Ready Program helps technology partners develop, integrate, and test their products for compatibility with Citrix solutions for digital workspace, networking, and analytics.

The NETSCOUT nGeniusONE Service Assurance Platform provides visibility for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop solutions, reducing the time it takes to find and fix performance issues.

Customers rely on Citrix to deliver secure mission-critical business applications to their remote and mobile users, and latency issues must be tightly managed to deliver the flawless user experiences that today’s workforces expect. At the same time, Citrix virtual applications represent a complex service delivery chain that is often delivered across wide area network links and last mile networking, where latency is a challenge. nGeniusONE Service Assurance Platform provides that necessary end-to-end latency monitoring and visibility into a Citrix deployment across a wide swath of technologies, including legacy, virtualized infrastructure, and public cloud deployments.

NETSCOUT leverages network traffic to collect performance KPIs for network, infrastructure, and applications and triage the root cause of a problem. This is made possible by NETSCOUT’s patented Adaptive Service Intelligence (ASI) technology. NETSCOUT’s visibility into end-to-end services, including the interdependencies between service components and Citrix products across the multi-tier enterprise, provides a collaborative approach to service assurance and troubleshooting that is often missing in legacy IT environments.

John Panagulias, Director, Citrix Ready, said: “nGeniusONE along with Citrix provides end-to-end visibility into IP-based business services that support thousands of applications, including voice, video, and data. This enables IT operations to more effectively manage the health and availability of diverse application environments and drastically reduce CapEx and OpEx spending without compromising the end user experience.”

“Citrix and NETSCOUT have been working together for the past four years to ensure Citrix deployments are supported by the best-of-breed management solutions,” said Paul Barrett, CTO, Enterprise Business Operations, NETSCOUT. “NETSCOUT’s nGeniusONE Service Assurance platform is an ideal complement to Citrix’s Director. As IT organizations face the challenge of delivering more complex and interdependent services, nGeniusONE ensures that these services can be delivered confidently, while meeting user experience expectations; the key to success of any Citrix deployment.”
