Twistlock announced a new integration between Datadog and Twistlock - ensuring seamless integration of cloud native security intelligence into the Datadog platform. This integration helps customers better centralize information from across the DevOps lifecycle and at every layer of the cloud native stack.
"Cloud native architectures have changed the game for application and infrastructure security teams by increasing the velocity of deployments and reducing time to delivery. To address this, we increasingly see our enterprise customers relying on Twistlock for security scanning and governance of their containerized workloads," said Ilan Rabinovitch, VP Product and Community at Datadog. "Our new integrations will allow our mutual customers to correlate changes in containerized environments with security events."
The Datadog Twistlock integration is fully developed and supported by the Datadog team, and bundled with the Datadog agent. For teams running cloud native applications at scale, the integration provides a seamless way to view the risk posture of their applications alongside other key health and performance metrics.
Customers can surface the following information from their Twistlock subscription within the Datadog platform - providing at a glance visibility into the risk posture of their cloud native applications.
- Vulnerabilities in containers and hosts - whether running or in registry.
- CVE details and risk scores powered by Twistlock's intelligence stream.
- Compliance status of containers, hosts and registries.
"By integrating Twistlock's incident forensics and risk overview into Datadog, our customers increase their ability to understand the overall health of their cloud native environments and respond in real-time to threats and risks. This gives them both a security and an operational advantage - making them safer and more efficient than before," said John Leon, VP Business Development and Alliances at Twistlock.
The integration is available now for all Datadog customers with a Twistlock license. All information shared via the integration can be used in custom reports and alerts, or combined with metrics from other data sources surfaced within Datadog.
