Three new offerings are designed to help customers leverage the Riverbed Application Performance Platform for superior visibility, optimization, and control within their increasingly complex IT environments.
Riverbed Professional Services has designed three new services to help customers protect, optimize, and maximize the investments they have made in Riverbed Application Performance Platform solutions.

- Optimization Assurance Service for Riverbed SteelHead: Assesses a customer’s SteelHead deployment and recommends changes to maximize the performance of critical applications. The service also provides best practice troubleshooting and change management guidelines so customers can confidently protect and leverage their SteelHead solutions even as their applications and networks evolve.
-,Application Analytics and Diagnostics Service: Combining industry-leading performance management solutions from SteelCentral with the added skills and expertise of Riverbed Professional Services consultants, customers can leverage this new service to continually improve the performance of targeted on-premises, SaaS and cloud applications. The service is available to both current and prospective SteelCentral customers, and includes baselines to understand current performance; troubleshooting and root cause analysis to isolate and correct problems before they become severe; and performance trending to help prevent future problems from occurring.
“The services industry is shifting its focus from the delivery of IT outcomes to the delivery of business outcomes that result from IT services,” said Joel Hofman, VP of Professional Services, Riverbed Technology. “With services that focus on maximizing the return of strategic value from investments in the Riverbed Application Performance Platform solutions, our customers can be confident that their business objectives are achieved, no matter what challenges or changes the hybrid world imposes on their business.”
