ThousandEyes announced a new sales office in Tokyo, Japan.

To lead sales, awareness efforts, customer support and channel development in the region, ThousandEyes has appointed Issei Ogata who has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and networking industry.

"Japan is one of the central hubs of commerce and technological innovation in APAC and we are excited to open up operations in the heart of the country," said Mohit Lad, CEO and co-founder of ThousandEyes. "As more organizations in Japan adopt cloud technologies such as SaaS and IaaS, the lack of visibility into networks makes it nearly impossible to troubleshoot issues yet IT teams are still responsible for ensuring a great user experience. Our Network Intelligence technology helps the world's largest enterprises, organizations and service providers to improve application and service delivery between customers, partners, and employees in today's Internet-centric environment."

As part of ThousandEyes' expansion into the Japanese market, the company is collaborating with leading partners in the country, such as Net One Systems. Established in 1988, Net One Systems provides cloud systems that supports private, public and hybrid cloud models and advises leading enterprises, service providers and carriers on optimal cloud architectures. These value added relationships help customers to improve application and service delivery experience to users.

"Net One Systems supports the entire information and communications technology (ICT) environment of our customers, from the deployments of on-premises to cloud services," said Mr. Fumihiko Shinoura, Executive Officer and CMO at Net One Systems. "By adding ThousandEyes' Internet visualization and Network Intelligence technology to our offerings, we can further improve the efficiency and operations of our customers' systems. We are sure that ThousandEyes' expansion in Japan will accelerate these factors and further strengthen our customer support."
