Do you like fast cars? I must admit I do. I also like websites that are fast too. In this day and age where Internet speed is now blazing fast, your customers expect everything else to keep pace.
Customers now expect a web page to load in two seconds or less and will abandon the web page if it takes more than three seconds.
I believe that if a page doesn’t load in less than one second, your customers have moved on already. Just remember, in this marketplace, your competitors are one click away.
With these facts in mind, I have a few questions for you:
- How long does your web page take to load?
- How long does it take to load on mobile devices?
- How long does it take to load on the myriad of web browsers?
- Which direction is your performance going, are you getting faster?
